RELATED: Dying Light 2 Releases Huge New Update 1.10 That aside, the sequel still has its perks and dedicated followers, and the studio is preparing to send out a patch soon which is said to up the scares somewhat. While it was highly praised for its parkour mechanics, which was probably one of the main reasons fans played the game, it was marred somewhat by significant glitches from day one and what many people felt was a rather lackluster story. It's unfortunate that Dying Light 2 wasn't as well received as its predecessor. While there are quite a few parkour games to choose from, whether it's Assassin's Creed or Far Cry, it still feels like a genre that hasn't been run into the ground yet, and Techland's follow-up to its 2015 zombie FPS is just one more in a growing list. Those eagerly awaiting the next major update for Dying Light 2 will be pleased to know that the developer is promising a lot with the new content, which includes some new tricks, as well as making the experience ever more frightening for players.
